Hanan, you are a godforsaken moron and I'll know to avoid anything you ever like. The Florence cover is freaking awesome, and even an old man I know enjoys it. I don't know if you're a fan of Beirut, but I am. big time. and that cover did not do the song justice in the least. many people agree with me. I'm not saying that Beirut can't be covered (I've seen some decent things on youtube, some really good) just that the Florence one didn't, in my opinion, properly capture the essence of the song. I'm sorry if my words offended you, or if you really like Florence or anything.

just for the record, I'm a huge Talking Heads fan and very much respect Bon Iver even though he's not my favourite choice for melencholy music. for emma, forever ago is a really solid album. I think I actually posted Bon Iver's cover of Feist on my blog a while back...
